Born and brought up in the ‘City of Joy’, ASTA Kolkata Trainer Mr. Tarhun Lohiya has close ties with the cultural and intellectual capital of India.
A distinguished Chartered Accountant with 14 years of corporate experience working in an MNC, Tarhun is an ASTA OGM Card Holder & former Mentorship Program participant.
Tarhun has grown leaps and bounds both as a stock market trader and trainer under the mentoring of Master Trader Mr. Avadhut Sathe, his proper command over technical analysis, discipline and commitment to the teachings of ASTA!!
Now with a successful trading experience of more than 5 years added to his 10 years of training experience from his corporate background, Tarhun is well-equipped to pass on his extensive stock market knowledge to aspiring traders. In his free time, Tarhun loves to play cricket, read books, travel and network with people.
Pawan Kumar Paravastu’s stock market journey commenced at ASTA in 2020. Bolstered by his determination and ASTA’s support, he thrived under Avadhut Sathe’s mentorship, emerging as a seasoned trader specializing in Bank Nifty. Hailing from Tamil Nadu but raised in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan leads ASTA Telugu, catering to Tamil and Telugu-speaking students. He’s known for his fun and educational classes.
With an engineering degree and 18 years in IT, Pawan transitioned from a successful career to pursue trading full-time. Fluent in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and English, he connects effortlessly with his diverse student base. His journey epitomizes resilience, perseverance, and a pursuit of excellence.
Beyond trading and teaching, Pawan enjoys movies, singing, gardening, and travel. Inspired by his vision, he embraced the trainer role for ASTA’s Telugu branch, driven by his passion for empowering his students.
With six years of trading experience, Vijay Rajgadkar has a background in the government and private sector. He has a 33-year corporate tenure in the Oil and Gas and Finance sectors, particularly in Fuel Marketing and Payment Systems.
A Mechanical Engineer by education, his journey led him to ASTA in July 2019, where he joined the GEO 16 and Mentorship 7 batches, mentored by Avadhut Sir. In December 2019, he transitioned from the corporate world to full-time trading and emphasized simplicity in his trading approach. As a seasoned trainer, his sessions are characterized by lively interactions, practical applicability, and an emphasis on making learning enjoyable.
His primary instruments are Nifty and some of the significant Nifty50 Stocks. He is skilled at option selling using a Credit strategy. He also trades currency (USDINR) and commodities (Silver Mini).
Apart from trading and training, he finds solace in music, particularly singing, and actively participates in stage shows.
He’s played pivotal roles as a GEO Monitor and Co-trainer for various programs, fostering emotionally solid connections with participants and ensuring lasting learning experiences.
ASTA Gujarat and Indore trainer Atul Hingarh has a great passion for learning as well as teaching. With a focus on process, discipline and regular practice, he acquired the essential skills from ASTA to become a price action trader. His outstanding 15 years of experience in teaching the youth has helped him grow as an effective trainer for the financial markets.
An Engineer with an MBA in Finance, Atul started his career as a merchant banker. He continued his professional journey as a successful business owner in coaching young students. In 2018, his passion for financial markets brought him to ASTA, where he found his mentor Avadhut Sathe who has transformed him into a meticulous stock market trader and trainer. Besides his love for teaching Mathematics, he enjoys reading mystery novels and watching movies.
He has aligned his compassion and contributing nature with ASTA’s mission to touch as many lives as possible.
Raghu Samarth, a Kannada ASTA Trainer, has guided stock trading enthusiasts from Karnataka since joining the organization in 2019. His journey with ASTA began as a student, swiftly transitioning to a leadership role upon completing the course. Raghu’s passion for teaching blossomed as he embraced the learning process, aligning perfectly with ASTA’s ethos: “Thought is a gift of the Universe.” Inspired by Avadhut Sir’s vision of breaking language barriers, Raghu found his niche in teaching stock trading concepts in Kannada, his mother tongue.
Before his venture into trading education, Raghu enjoyed a career as an Actor, Writer, and Director in the Kannada Television and Film industry. However, his experience in ASTA transformed his perspective, leading him to believe that life is a celebration, with every ASTAian considered a celebrity. Students appreciate Raghu’s simplistic teaching style, enriched with engaging short stories facilitating easy and joyful learning experiences.
Despite facing challenges in his trading journey, Raghu’s commitment to ethical trading practices and the discipline instilled by ASTA empowered him to enhance his skills. He attributes much of his success to the supportive AFOOFA culture and ASTA’s robust support system, which played a pivotal role in his growth.
Raghu primarily focuses on trading Bank Nifty Options, proficiently navigating the trading spectrum’s buying and selling sides. Beyond teaching, Raghu finds joy in cooking, singing, and exploring new destinations through travel.
Meet Anirudh Kashyap, a seasoned professional with a diverse background in IT and finance, and now the lead trainer for North America. His journey in the financial markets began in 2008, when he had the privilege of learning directly from Avadhut Sathe. Since then, Anirudh has been actively trading and investing in both Indian and US markets. An Engineer and MBA by training, Anirudh has served numerous Fortune 500 companies globally as a Management Consultant
Originally from Mumbai, he moved to the United States with his family in 2016. Recently, he made a life-changing decision to turn his long-time passion into his profession, by becoming a full-time trader. Growing up as the son of a school teacher, Anirudh understands the profound impact teachers can have on their students’ lives. Throughout his life, he’s embraced opportunities to teach and train others, refining his skills during his college years, professional career, and through his association with ASTA. Anirudh’s commitment to education led him to actively participate in ASTA’s 3G program (Ghar Ghar Gurukul), joining every 3G batch in Mumbai as a student and later as a monitor and senior monitor. Presently, he serves as a co-monitor for the ASTA Mentorship program. His strengths lie in his analytical skills, attention to detail, and patience, making him an effective and engaging trainer.Anirudh enjoys traveling, reading non-fiction books, watching thrillers, and listening to podcasts on a wide range of topics. Now as a full-time trader and trainer, he looks forward to spending quality time with his wife and 2-year-old son.
Anirudh’s dedication has led him to head ASTA’s first international center in North America, encompassing the US and Canada. Deeply committed to ASTA’s mission and with a passion for meeting and connecting with people, Anirudh looks forward to empowering others who choose to learn from the God Market using ASTA’s teachings and philosophy.
